    Using Social Media to Showcase and Sell Your Art

    Presentation by Sara Weisgerber of Currents Marketing

    Sara will do a brief overview of the available platforms and the best ones to be active on. She will also cover how to stay consistent with the content to get the best results. Lastly, Sara will discuss how to adapt to the changing world to bring things online that used to be in-person.

    On Line Critique with Cindy Revell

    Registration Opens: December 21, 2020.  Look for the green registration button on this page.   The critique is limited to 8 participants, please submit early to secure your spot.  Also, please remember that you must have paid your yearly dues in order to take part in this event. 

    If you are considering submitting a painting to our February show, having an experienced artist provide a critique of your painting may just make that painting even better.   This online critique will provide you with a review of your artwork’s strengths and some areas for improvement. SFCA Member Cindy Revell has wonderful insight and experience to share, so why not take advantage or her wisdom to help inspire you.

    The critique session will be held online in the comfort of your own home.  You will meet with Cindy and 7 other artists using Zoom.  You will need a good internet connection and are encouraged to test out your internet capability prior to registering.     Cindy Revell is an award winning professional illustrator and fine artist whose work can be seen in galleries and across North America in children’s books, cook books, magazines, calendars and various products. Cindy is a passionate instructor who delights in sharing her many years of experience.

    Once registered you will need to email Cindy two images of your work at least 5 days prior to the session. Email cindy@cindyrevell.com

    A few days before the critique date you will be sent an email with further instructions and a link to Zoom.  It is easiest if you have a Zoom account already downloaded on your computer or other device but not necessary.  Below are links to Zoom tutorials.
