October Critique

Our annual fall critique event is back, and this year we’re adding a valuable learning opportunity: a session on how to critique artwork! Participants can bring up to 3 pieces of their own art to be reviewed by this fall's lead critiquer: Joyce Boyer, an esteemed artist and educator, president of the  Art Society of Strathcona County and secretary of the FCA Edmonton Chapter. 

Please submit a good-quality digital photograph or scan (screen size resolution) of each piece you want critiqued to Crystal Driedger, Education Chair, by October 16th at noon. This allows our judges the necessary time to provide in-depth, thoughtful feedback.

Event Details:

• Who: Open to current FCA members in good standing
• Where: Night of Artists Gallery, Bonnie Doon Mall
• When: Critique starts at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6:30 PM. If you are bringing artwork for review, please arrive early to ensure everything is set up smoothly.
