We are honoured to be hosting the esteemed Canadian Contemporary Figurative Artist Alex Garant this November online. Alex will be speaking about marketing yourself and we look forward to hearing more from an expert in the field. This event is free for FCA Edmonton current members. Guests and past-members may join the talk for $20. In the "Marketing Your Brand" session, Alex Garant will give tips and exercises to help you focus on discovering and refining your visual voice as an artist and subsequently building a marketing strategy grounded in self-awareness. Understanding who you are creatively is key: whether it’s the themes you paint or your method. We'll explore how to translate this unique identity into a powerful artist statement that guides your brand awareness authentically. Setting clear, actionable goals based on your own specific imagery will be the driver for upcoming content. We will explore how to leave meaningful “breadcrumbs" across your platforms that draws people back to your core message and keeps your artistic vision at the forefront.
