Biography
Connie Clarke is a multimedia artist and graphic designer who lives and works in Edmonton, Alberta. She grew up in Alberta, but has lived in many places in British Columbia, as well as the Yukon. Her painting style emanates the power and beauty of nature, the whimsy of her pets and the colourful beauty of flowers and birds.
Her watercolour landscapes reflect the moody, atmospheric feeling of the coastal mountains in the rain and the mystical magic of The Badlands. Her love for animals is brought to life in her colourful watercolours and her sensitive charcoal drawings of the pets she has known and loved. A passion for growing flowers and gardening is evident in her many garden landscapes filled with flowers and garden structures. In the summer when her passion turns to gardening, she has volunteered her design talents to projects within her community. Her landscape designs are enjoyed by many happy clients in the Edmonton area.
