Biography
Donald Moar has an Architectural Technology diploma, a BFA degree, and a MDes degree. Recently retired from teaching to work full-time on his art, Donald has not only been involved in the design of major architectural and museum exhibit projects, but has also worked on public art commissions. While he worked for decades within the architectural and exhibit design communities, Donald’s true passion has forever been art. Portraying the links between science/nature and art is central to his being - he seeks to discover the 'architecture' of the natural world and how living things (including humans) ‘fit’ in, thus creating an awareness and greater appreciation of the somewhat 'invisible'.
