Artist Statement
My paintings and photographs are an extension of how I see the world around me. When I travel to various locations around North America or Europe, I often envision places I see as paintings. I mainly paint water colour, and this medium is a fickle medium that likes to do its own thing. The trick is to let it do its own thing, but still have some control over the ultimate result.
