Artist Statement
Playful and charming, Crystal Driedgers original acrylic and oil paintings feature vibrant colours, enchanting textures and gentle, whimsical shapes. Often her pieces are hand-carved into soft basswood or are painted with thick, buttery strokes of rich oil paint. Many of Crystal’s pieces are inspired by memories and imaginings from a childhood spent in the forests and fields of her family farm.
